The first information about this instrument comes from more than two millennia ago and was first mentioned in writing in 1579. Delicious Kannel chocolate candies from 1974 hide a melt-in-the-mouth almond praline filling covered with a wonderful dark chocolate glaze. The final finish – a light brown velvety appearance – is given by rolling the candies in mixture made from chocolate flakes and sugar.
